She started playing with hair even before learning to write her name. She took her barbies to school, break time, lunch, and even in class she was braiding their hair. She couldn’t remember how many times the teacher confiscated them. Her first hair salon was named after one of her cousins, “Minine.” She designed her first outfit at the age of 14 years old.

Why 4realhair?
Rire….number 4, it’s the four elements, Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. Look real, it’s for the appearance. Here is the story of who inspired the real hair name:
It was May 2015. I was doing some regular shopping at a hair shop in Brampton. A lady approached me and asked for recommendations on wigs for her daughter. As the discussion progressed, the women revealed that their 18-year-old daughter had lost her hair as a result of ongoing chemotherapy for cancer treatment.Since then, she (daughter) has become self-conscious about her appearance and doesn’t go out as much as she wants and/or needs to. The mother mentioned that they purchased wigs from the regular store, but her (daughter) scalp felt very irritated, due to the artificial nature and poor quality of the products. The mother also mentioned that her daughter suffered physical and mental trauma after the treatment. Also, her confidence became low, and that affected her healing process. I felt an immediate the desire to assist her on her hair journey and to use my knowledge and education in hair styling to create a wig or hair piece that can assist many cancer survivors, such as that teenage girl, in making a smooth transition back into society or for fashion.
